Chingari launches GARI Mining Program to empower its users

Chingari has introduced the GARI Mining program, aiming to empower its four crore monthly average users (MAU). Through the Create-2-Earn, Watch-2-Earn, and Engage-2-Earn initiative, both creators and users have the opportunity to earn GARI, a Social Token, by engaging in various in-app activities such as video creation, liking, and sharing. Notably, Chingari has become the world’s first social app to provide cryptocurrency to its creators and users.

The distribution of GARI tokens involves a daily pool of 50,000 tokens, with 5,000 tokens reserved for the daily login bonus. The remaining 45,000 GARI tokens will be rewarded to users and creators for participating in in-app activities like watching, liking, and sharing videos.

Furthermore, users can enhance their earnings by utilizing GARI Badges, which are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) available for purchase within the Chingari app. These badges can multiply daily GARI earnings by up to 10 times, depending on the badge level. The five badge levels include Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond, offering multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, and 10x, respectively.

Sumit Ghosh, Co-founder & CEO of Chingari and GARI token, expressed enthusiasm at the launch of the GARI Mining Program. He emphasized the platform’s commitment to democratizing the creator economy and ensuring a fair playing field for both large and smaller creators. With this program, creators and users can earn GARI tokens, tradable on exchanges for monetary value, reducing reliance on brand collaborations as the sole source of income. The program is expected to contribute Rs. 93 crore (12 million) annually to creators and users.
